Android first - on iPhone? Join the iOS waitlist. Private by design.
How it works
Three taps from “we should hang out” to done.
No new group chat, no lost thread. Orbit carries the plan from the first idea to the last receipt.
Start a Circle
Bring your people into a private space - your partner, roommates, or the whole crew.
Propose & vote
Float a few options for where and when. Everyone votes, and Orbit tallies it fairly.
Go & settle up
Meet up, add what you spent, and settle in the fewest transfers possible.
Why Orbit
Everything a plan needs, in one calm place.
From the first “we should hang out” to the last receipt settled - Orbit carries the whole plan so no one person has to. It also shows you real ticketed events in fourteen Indian cities, and gives your circle a question to answer together.
Find your people
Make a Circle for the ones you actually plan with - your partner, the family thread, roommates, the close crew, or a whole big group. Each Circle is its own private world.
- Couples, families, roommates, and big groups - each with the right feel
- Invite with a link that opens straight into the Circle
- No noisy feed, no strangers - just the people you chose
Decide together, fairly
Stop counting reactions in the group chat. Propose options for where and when, everyone votes, and Orbit tallies it fairly so the plan just gets decided.
- Vote on the place and the time in one tap
- Clear, fair tallies - no one has to play referee
- RSVP so you always know who is actually coming
Money, always square
Add what you spent, split it however makes sense, and let Orbit do the math. It nets everything down to the fewest payments - so settling up is one clean transfer, not a spreadsheet.
- Split evenly, by shares, or exact amounts
- Running balances so everyone knows where they stand
- Smart settle-up nets debts into the fewest transfers
AI that suggests places you’ll actually love
Tell Orbit the vibe - brunch for six, quiet enough to talk, walkable - and it suggests real venues nearby that fit. It reads the room from your Circle, not a generic list.
- Grounded in real places, with a reason it fits
- Turn any suggestion into a plan and a vote in one tap
- Location is optional and only used to find nearby spots
- Runs on Google Gemini, or on your own Claude or OpenAI key
Keep the memories
Every plan can hold its photos, so the night out lives on somewhere better than a buried camera roll. Look back on where you’ve been together, one plan at a time.
- Add photos to any plan and relive it later
- Memories stay inside your Circle - never public
- A gentle history of your time together
New: Questions
Know your people, not just your plans.
Questions in Orbit are small prompts your circle answers together, so you stay close between plans. You see what the others said once you have answered, and What you’ve learned can sum it all up with AI.
Questions your circle answers together
Every circle gets a question on a rhythm that fits it: one a day for a couple or a long-distance pair, every couple of days for close friends and roommates, every few days for a family or a big group, and once a week for colleagues. Anyone in the circle can ask one of their own, too.
- Yours unlocks theirs: answer in a tap or a sentence, and everyone else’s opens up
- Who’s in shows who has answered, never what they said
- Say something back to an answer, or Plan it into a real plan
- Questions waiting on you sit on Today and on Waiting on you
What you’ve learned, summarised with AI
What you’ve learned keeps every question your circle has answered together, newest first, each answer in its person’s own words. Tap Summarise with AI and Orbit writes a warm summary shaped by the kind of relationship you have: a short headline, the themes that keep coming up, where you agree and where you see it differently, then and now once there is enough history, and one question to ask next.
- Written by Orbit's AI on Google Gemini, free once every 3 days for each circle, or any time with your own Claude or OpenAI key
- Sends only answers you have unlocked, with first names - never locked answers, guesses or replies
- Anyone can keep their answers out, and it never scores, ranks or compares people

Questions
Good to know.
What is Orbit?
Orbit is a group planning app for the people you are closest to: friends, couples, family and roommates. Each group gets a private circle where you make plans, vote on where and when, RSVP, chat, split the bill and answer a shared question, so the plan actually happens.
Who is Orbit for?
Small groups of people who already know each other and keep meaning to do something together: couples, close friends, families, roommates, colleagues and friends who live in different cities. Circles are invite-only, so there are no strangers and no public feed.
What can you do in Orbit?
Start a plan with who, what and when, then vote on the options and RSVP. Turn a real ticketed event into a plan with its venue, time and ticket link, or make an online plan and Orbit creates the Google Meet link. Chat in a thread for each plan, split expenses equally or item by item, and settle up in the fewest payments. Answer your circle's question, then look back on every answer in What you've learned and summarise it with AI. Search finds your plans, circles, events and people.
How do the questions in Orbit work?
Each circle gets a question to answer together: one a day for a couple or a long-distance pair, every couple of days for close friends and roommates, every few days for families and big groups, and once a week for colleagues. Anyone in the circle can ask one of their own, and you see what the others said only once you have answered yours; before that you can see who has answered, never what.
What is Summarise with AI in Orbit?
Summarise with AI is a button in What you've learned, the page that keeps every question your circle has answered together. One tap writes a warm summary of your circle: a headline, the themes that keep coming up, where you agree and where you differ, and one question to ask next. It never scores, ranks or compares people.
How many questions before Orbit can summarise?
Seven. Once your circle has answered at least 7 questions together, Summarise with AI is free once every 3 days for each circle on Orbit's AI, which runs on Google Gemini, or any time with your own Claude or OpenAI key.
Is Orbit's AI summary private?
Your answers go to the AI only when someone taps Summarise, and only the questions and answers that person has already unlocked, with first names only. Orbit's AI is Google Gemini, on Google's paid Gemini API, which does not use them to improve Google's products; with your own Claude or OpenAI key, they go straight from the phone to that provider instead. Locked answers, guesses and replies are never sent, anyone can switch off "Include my answers in summaries" for a circle, and the summary is kept for the reader only, for 3 days.
Which AI does Orbit use?
Google Gemini. Orbit's own AI runs on Google Gemini, through Google's paid Gemini API, for every AI feature: plan ideas and Summarise with AI. Or use your own Claude or OpenAI key any time, under Profile, then AI suggestions, and requests go straight from your phone to that provider. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what each feature sends.
Which cities does Orbit have events in?
Fourteen Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida and Pune. Orbit shows real ticketed events in each, and you can turn one into a plan.
Is Orbit free?
Yes. Orbit is free, with no ads and no subscription, and we do not sell your data. AI plan ideas are included, made by Orbit's AI, which runs on Google Gemini. The AI summary in What you've learned is free once every three days for each circle, or any time with your own Claude or OpenAI key.

Is my data private?
